Matthew T. Dauphin, P.E.

Lead Civil Engineer

Since joining Carubba Engineering in 2011, Matt has honed his structural design skills in multi-story frames, deep foundations, cold-formed steel, and marine structures through project experience like retail developments, hotels, restaurants, marine loading docks, sports stadiums, community centers, auditoriums, and film set design.

In civil engineering, Matt specializes in subdivision and commercial development design, hydrologic analysis, water and sewer system design, paving design, and drainage impact analysis. He excels in forensic analysis, schedule management, construction administration, and expert reporting.

Outside of the office, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley; his daughters, Emma and Claire; and his son, Tyler. He loves grilling with his family and taste-testing Ashley’s gourmet baked treats. He is also a tennis enthusiast, having been a team captain in school, and now serves as a coach at his community recreation center. Lastly, Matt is active in his church and volunteers in his local community of St. Charles Parish, assisting with their engineering needs.
