Carubba Engineering, Inc. (CEI) is a full-service engineering firm celebrating over 30 years of service. We specialize in civil, structural, and marine engineering, with a rich portfolio spanning over 7,000 projects. Our expertise extends from the lower Mississippi River region of Louisiana to coastal regions of Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Texas.

Our structural engineering experience includes detail design of multi-story frames, deep foundations, light gauge metal framing, special metals, and marine structures. CEI also provides expertise in site development, comprehensive drainage studies, site infrastructure, and construction budgeting. Examples of our structural projects include retail developments, hotels, industrial warehouses, office buildings, sports stadiums,community centers and auditoriums, forensic analysis, and film set design.

Philosophy – Engineering Theory vs. Reality:

Structural engineering is the art of molding materials we do not fully understand into shapes we cannot fully analyze so as to withstand forces of nature we cannot fully assess in a way that fully protects the community against harm.

Carubba Engineering believes that good design stems from mastering the many building systems, knowing how they will behave under loads and designing them to withstand the loads. Moreover, the designs need to be serviceable and stay within budget. This is a daunting task, as it requires a thorough understanding of the entire process from load determination to detailing at every scale
